Nelson Memories
So if you saw the house that burned down in Sandy on the news last week... that was my Grandparents old house. Even though it's not their home anymore, they built that house and lived in it for many many many years. When I lived at home growing up, we and all the aunts and uncles and cousins would meet there every Sunday night and have homemade ice cream. There are so many memories I have in that house and it was so sad to see it burn down.

I'd just like to take a second to remeniss with all the Nelson side of my family of some of my memories.
- Homemade Icecream
- playing capture the flag, ghost in the graveyard, kick the can, basketball
- playing nertz, and murder in the dark
- Picking rassberries, apricots, and cherries
- Climbing on the roof of the barn
- Painting the barn
- The little sand box
- swinging from the clothesline poles
- massive domino trains
- watching The Simpsons in the basement
- Grandpa's old chess set
- the beer chair
- Aunt Linda's treats
- Uncle Reed's teasing
- passing around cookies
- not having to serve ice cream anymore
- Mormon bridge
- racing sticks down the gutter
- Dipping chocolates
- Grandpa saying, " My name is Quela...What's yours?" Ha Ha
- Fitting everyone in the bathroom
- Inviting Matt for the first time to face the wrath(I mean questioning) of Aunt Linda(I mean the fam)
- Thanksgiving dinner, the handprint table cloth, and the kids table.
So so many memories. Let me know what I forgot, or what your favorite memories were.

Hill Air
No, not as in Hilarious, but as in the Aerospace Museum. On saturday, we went to Hill Aerospace Museum. We've lived 15 minutes away from it for 3 years and this was our first visit. It's actually pretty cool. I never realized how much cool history and massive planes and choppers they have there. And it's totally free to visit! I recommend it to anyone that has never gone, Especially if your kids, or you I guess, like planes. We had a great time.

Snow Sculptures
This weekend we had lots of fun building snow sculptures in our yard. When the snow is so wet and heavy like this it is great to play and sculpt with.
It's 4 snowmen chasing after a snow monster with stick and rakes. It turned out pretty cool.

New Song
I don't really have anything interesting to post about, but I heard this song on the radio today and I kinda like it. It helps me remember to cherish every moment I have with Roxy.

Built in Babysitter
He's Gone. As some of you may know, Matt's brother Ben has been living in our basement for a while. He's been out of the house for about a month now, but officially moved out this past weekend. It's good and bad that he's gone, but the thing that I'll miss the most is that he was there to babysit for me when I needed it, most the time. I could go to the grocery store or run other errands alone and didn't have to worry about finding a babysitter for nights when Matt was out of town. And even though Ben only changed like 2 diapers while he was here, he was great with Roxy. So thanks Ben. Now that you're in your new place, I'll still be calling you to babysit every once and a while cause you definitely owe us.

Christmas in Wisconsin!
We've spent the last week and a half in Matt's hometown of Baraboo, Wisconsin. It was great spending Christmas there and spending time with all of his family. Here are a ton of pictures from our trip. And when I say a ton, I mean a ton. I probably could have put a lot less, but who doesn't love pictures and videos? Alright, here goes. . .
So for Christmas I got this game called QUELF. And it is so random and fun. Hillarious actually. It makes you do things like
this. . .
And this. . .
So Funny! You might have had to be there.
Sledding at Devil's Lake
They have a river out past their back yard that was frozen. The snow had been cleared off in this little area so we decided to have a fun game of ice soccer it was awesome.
The day before we came home we went swimming to add on to our tropical Christmas theme. It was a great way to end the vacation.
