Thanks to Matt's brother Ben, we got to go see 'Disney on Ice: the Princess Classics' for Free! And we were in the All-Star Suite at the Delta Center!(Energy Solutions Arena, whatever) It was Awesome! Roxy love love LOVED it! This might have to be something I take my girls to for years to come.

Roxy Loved it so much that we could hardly get her to take her eyes of the entertainment.

Pretty Toes!

I don't know where she found it or how she got it open, but Roxy got into the nail polish yesterday and decided to paint her own toes. Not bad if you ask me. And luckily she only got it on herself and not on any of the household appliances or furniture.

I think she tried to use it as lipstick too.
And she may or may not have eaten some of it.

Hell's Bells

Friday was our ward Trunk-or-Treat and as always, we went all out. I love dressing up for Halloween and Matt is great to play along.
This year we all went as "BELLS"
Lyla was Tinkerbell, Roxy was Belle from Beauty and the Beast,
I was a Southern Belle, and Matt was a Doorbell.
Add the flames and you get Hell's Bells!!

Sisters!

Roxy loves her new baby sister... so far. She loves to hold her and talk to her and help Mommy do things for her. I think she's going to make a great big sister!

Roxy's first time meeting and holding Lyla.
Roxy also has her own little baby that she likes to feed and put to bed and just take care of. It's so cute.
Grandma came to visit for a couple of days and help out.
Thanks Mom!!
One of my favorite things.

Cribbage Tourney

That's Right, I played in a Cribbage Tournament. A couple weekends ago I drove 5 hours with my Mom and Aunt and Uncle to Winnemucca, NV. If you've never played cribbage, it's a pretty fun game. If you've never been to Winnemucca, you're not missing much. I never realized how big these tournaments were. They have 2 or 3 every weekend of the year in different states. Those old folk are hard core. My mom and I took 5th place in the doubles tournament, out of 25 or 30 teams. My Aunt tied for 3rd in the singles tourney, and my Uncle took 2nd in the consolation tourney. Let's just say our family cleaned up. It was definitely an interesting and fun experience. Yes, I was the youngest one there, by a lot(80% of the people there are 60+). And no, I didn't go into labor while I was there. Yay! I had a fun time with my mom, and who knows, maybe I'll go again sometime.

Like Mother Like Daughter

This is how Roxy and I spend our Sunday afternoons, laying on the couch, watching TV. Maybe I'm not the greatest influence.

St. George

Here are a few pics from our trip to St. George this weekend. It was so fun to spend time with family, play lots of games, relax at the pool, and just have a good time. Thanks again Paul & Janet!Sloppy Joe's

Tantrum Time

Yes, this is where Roxy cries out her tantrums, on the stairs. She just cries and holds her arms outstretched like this, waiting for Mom or Dad to come pick her up and comfort her. Daddy gives in a little easier than Mommy does. So fun! Am I ready for another?? Not during these moments.

Bunko Over-Nighter

I am in the best Bunko group ever!!! (No offence to my other group that I also love, and maybe after 3 more years together they'll reach the same status.) We have the best time together and last weekend we made our monthly bunko a sleepover at a Cabin right near Rockport Resevior. Not only did we play bunko, but lots of other fun games into the night. Lots of laughs and good times. The next morning we went out to the Lake and had a blast boating and relaxing. I wasn't able to tube or wakeboard or do anything I really wanted to, but that comes with the territory of being pregnant. I still had fun watching others and being the designated picture taker and flag holder. But next year you all better watch out. Thanks for all the fun girls!!

Happy Birthday Roxy!!

Roxy turned 2 yesterday, Aug 16th. She is getting so big so fast.
video

We had her birthday part last week at Grandma Hendy's house. She was so excited and had fun playing with all her new toys.
Potty training has been going good and we decided to let her wear panties to Grandma's for her party. Bad idea. She was so excited about all her gifts that she peed her pants all over Grandma's carpet. Joy. Here are some of the other highlights...

Blowing out the candles.
The Nemo cake Matt & I made. Roxy loved it.
Typical Quela gift of a ball and glove.
So happy.
I think this was the gift that made her forget all about going pee pee on the potty.
A big thanks for all the gifts and cards from family, Grandparents and Great Grandparents!!!

Cousins

This weekend we watched our nephew and niece, Mitchell and Ava. Roxy loved having other kids to play with all day long. We had lots of fun together swimming in the back yard, watching movies, playing, and the highlight of the weekend, going to the Zoo!

Playing in the pool
This picture would be a lot cuter if Roxy didn't look so scary.

This was my first time at the Hogle Zoo since I can remember. And Matt's first time ever. We went with our friends the Call's and their 2 kids. It was a lot of fun.

Here are all the kids in front of the giraffe's.
We were lucky to get this picture.
On the train
Roxy and Ava walked around everywhere holding hands. So Cute!

Zebras
Matt being funny, picking the rhino's nose.

The zoo was a blast!

Here they all are addicted to a movie.
We had a fun weekend, but I am definitely not ready to be a mother of 3 yet. I'll just take them as they come.

Just stuff

On the 24th we decided to take Roxy to her first drive-in movie (and hoped she would sleep through most of it). we watched from the back of our truck equipped with a matress, pillows, and blankets. Quite comfy. We saw Harry Potter and Up. Both were very good and Roxy stayed awake for all of it and finally zonked during the last 5 minutes of Up.

The night before we went to the Bountiful Parade. Roxy loved grabbing all the candy and waving to everyone that walked or drove by. Good times.

Oregon

Here are some pictures from our trip to Oregon this weekend. It was short, but we had a great time. We had lots of fun at the beach, eating at Mo's, the Woodstock parade, visiting the temple, playing games, and hanging out with great Grandma Meg and the rest of the fam.

Cannon Beach

At Mo's for dinner.
Roxy didn't even make it long enough to get her drink.

Woodstock parade
Once again, all pooped out.

Visiting the Portland Temple, one of my favorites.
