Cribbage Tourney

That's Right, I played in a Cribbage Tournament. A couple weekends ago I drove 5 hours with my Mom and Aunt and Uncle to Winnemucca, NV. If you've never played cribbage, it's a pretty fun game. If you've never been to Winnemucca, you're not missing much. I never realized how big these tournaments were. They have 2 or 3 every weekend of the year in different states. Those old folk are hard core. My mom and I took 5th place in the doubles tournament, out of 25 or 30 teams. My Aunt tied for 3rd in the singles tourney, and my Uncle took 2nd in the consolation tourney. Let's just say our family cleaned up. It was definitely an interesting and fun experience. Yes, I was the youngest one there, by a lot(80% of the people there are 60+). And no, I didn't go into labor while I was there. Yay! I had a fun time with my mom, and who knows, maybe I'll go again sometime.

I guess I'll need to learn to play that game so that when I'm 60 I can be in the "in" crowd.

That is great! I heard there's a Bunko tournament in Mesquite- maybe you can spend all your time going to game tourneys now! Can't wait to see your little gal when she comes!
