Fun Weekend

This past weekend, Matt's Mom and 2 Aunts, Barb and Mary, came to visit from Wisconsin for his sister Sarah's graduation from BYU. Ok, that was probably super confusing, so lets just say we got to spend lots of time with lots of family. Here are some pictures of some of the fun stuff we did.

We went down to Salem to go Horse back riding and visit the Rice's. Roxy loves riding horses. She must get it from her mom. And Lyla had her first ride on a horse. Roxy had fun playing with Grandma on the 4-wheeler, swings, and tramp.
We also visited Temple square which is always beautiful. And I love all the flowers this time of year.

Lyla 6 month Pictures

As of tuesday, Lyla is 6 months old. She has been such a good little baby and is a joy to have in our lives! We had our 6 month doctor visit today and here are her numbers...

Height: 25" (25%) Weight: 14lbs 9oz. (25%) Head: 17.5" (95%)

Snow Day!

Last week it snowed about 7 inches and Roxy finally got some use out of the snow pants I bought her this winter. She loved playing in the snow! We made a snowman and snow angels. Roxy loves the snow. Too bad winter is over....Hopefully. Snow angel

We had Matt's siblings, ben, Ani, and Sarah over to watch General Conference and we all had a delicious Easter Dinner. Yum!!

So Roxy got ahold of the baby powder and went to town!! This happened on Sunday about 20 minutes before church!!

4 Monther

That's right, Lyla is now 4 months old. Time Flies! Here are the stats from her 4 month check up, and I'd also like to add that she only cried for like 1 second after getting her shots. What a trooper!

Height: 24" (40%)

Weight: 12lbs 1oz (15%) skinny little thing i guess

Head: 16.5" (75%) big head!

But no matter what the stats, she's still the cutest little girl!!!

Wisconsinites Visit Utah

I'm a little behind, but 2 weekends ago, Matt's mom and Grandparents came to visit us and the girls. We all had a great time. It was great to have Grandma and great Grandma and Grandpa here to spend time with us. And I'm sure it was nice for them to spend more time with Roxy and Lyla since they don't get to see them often enough. I expected it to be a rather stressful weekend, but everything ran smoothly and it turned out to be quite relaxing, entertaining, and enjoyable. Here are lots and lots of pictures from the weekend.

It's been about 10 years since I've been horseback riding and I still love it as much as I did back then.
